Description

Whether it’s a candlelight dinner for two, an evening with friends, a family celebration, or you just want to be pampered on vacation, I am your personal chef! I cook at your finca, holiday accommodation, or home and bring great taste right to your doorstep! Just like dining at a restaurant, you don’t have to worry about anything.

I offer a customized 3-6 course menu tailored to your preferences. Each menu starts with homemade bread and dips. I handle the shopping (I can also select wines if needed), set the table, serve the guests, and clean up your kitchen afterward.

Price calculation

** Minimum Revenue **

The most expensive aspect is my labor. This includes 16-22 hours of work regardless of the number of guests. This accounts for my office, shopping, preparation, and follow-up time. Since I am 100% self-employed, I must include my social contributions, insurance, taxes, and reserves in these costs.

** Food Costs **

I source my ingredients primarily from local producers, with a strong emphasis on quality. This results in costs of approximately €26 to €32 per person. Due to the diverse nature of my menu selection, I offer a uniform menu price per guest.

** Travel Costs **

I travel with my private car from Valle San Lorenzo, Arona. Travel within a 20km radius is included in the price. For each additional kilometer, I charge €0.27 for both the arrival and departure. I do not charge additional travel costs for my shopping trips.

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about private chef services. Of course, I am also happy to personally address any questions regarding your booking or inquiry.

Do you work all over Tenerife?

My service area as a private chef on Tenerife includes fincas and houses in the south of the island. Travel within a 20km radius of Valle San Lorenzo, Arona is included in the price. For requests further away, I charge a mileage fee of €0.27 per additional kilometer.

What is the process on the day of the dinner?

On the day of the event, we arrive punctually at the agreed time, usually about 2 hours before the menu starts. This depends on the complexity of the menu and the number of guests. We bring pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment as needed. We can also provide dishes and decorations by prior arrangement. We only need a stove, an oven, and some space in the refrigerator. After preparing the menu, we clean our work area and the equipment used.

Do we need to be present while you are preparing?

You do not need to be present while I am preparing the meal in your kitchen. If I have any questions, we can address them when you welcome me and show me the kitchen. This can also be done by a house staff member or someone you trust. However, timely access to your kitchen is necessary to ensure the agreed meal time can be met.

Are there vegetarians, people with allergies, or intolerances among the guests? Can you accommodate them?

Absolutely! We will discuss your menu individually, and your wishes and needs will be taken into account. Please let me know of any restrictions when you make your inquiry.

Do you only cook 3.5-course menus?

No, I am happy to accommodate your wishes and needs. Whether you want more courses, a hearty brunch, a tapas evening, a buffet, or a simple lunch, contact me and we will create the perfect culinary experience together.

For how many people do you cook?

I cook for up to 15 people. For requests for groups larger than 15, I will evaluate on a case-by-case basis whether I can accept the assignment. This depends on the requirements and the profile of the event, the menu wishes, and the conditions on-site.

What do you need for a firm booking?

After the initial discussions, I request a 20% deposit to confirm your booking. Once the payment is received, you will receive confirmation from me and your date will be firmly reserved.

What happens if the client cancels?

We hope no one must cancel an order! If it does happen: for cancellations more than 5 days in advance, the 20% deposit is forfeited. For cancellations less than 5 days in advance, a 50% cancellation fee applies.

What payment methods are accepted?

We ask that the deposit be made by bank transfer or Bizum. The remaining balance is payable after the dinner in cash or in advance by bank transfer.
